Donor Restricted Gift Policy (as voted by the membership at the February 4, 2012 Business Meeting): Occasionally, programs or projects undertaken by the Leduc Seventh-day Adventist Church may receive more funding than needed, or the scope of the program may be altered, or the project may not be completed.  If this happens, the Church Board will redirect funds to similar activities that meet the needs of the community we serve.  If the funds to be re-directed are in excess of $2,000, a recommendation from the Church Board will be presented to the church membership for consideration and approval.

Brief Job Description

  1. Help the department build healthy relationship with God and others.
  2. Help the department run smoothly and achieve their local mission.
  3. Help the department maintain the standards of the seventh-day Adventist Church and to reflect the mission of the world church.
  4. Help the leader to observe and navigate any protocol relevant to the smooth running of their department.
  5. Offer support and help as the need arises.

When an issue arises in a department that the leader feels warrants urgent attention, the leader of that department must first seek the help of the assigned elder while paying attention to the rules of engagement. The departmental leader and elder must first come to an agreement before deciding to take the issue any further.
